Donation Information
Donations of new and gently used items (please, no clothing), will be accepted at the front entrance of the High School from 4:00-7:00 pm on the Friday night before the sale.  Due to the limited number of volunteers available, we ask that you PLEASE pre-price all of your items with amounts that you feel are fair and reasonable.  Thank you in advance for your support and donations!

Vendor Information
To reserve a spot, please print both the Registration Form and
the Vendor Regulations.  Fill out the Registration Form and mail it with your payment to the address on the form.
 ***An email confirming receipt of your payment will be sent IF your email is listed on the application/registration form.  If you do not have an email address and want this confirmation sent to you via mail, a self addressed, stamped envelope must be included with your payment. ***

Space Size:  Each vendor space is about the size of two parking spaces.

Cost:  $35.00 per space   ($38.00 if paid after Sept 1)

Space Assignment:  
Spaces are assigned and will be provided to vendors at check-in on the morning of the sale.  Specific requests should be noted on the registration form and will be considered on a first come, first served basis whenever possible.  Requests are not guaranteed.

Setup:  Setup begins at 6:00 am.  Space assignments will be provided at the time of check-in only.  Vendors who have not arrived by 7:30 am will be considered a  "no-show" and their space may be forfeited or reassigned.

Cleanup:  We ask that all vendors pick up any leftover items and debris in their spaces and vacate the area by 3:30 pm. Please remove all boxes and trash.

Misc Information:
The MHS Mothers' Club and Mehlville School District are not responsible for theft, damage, loss of work, or personal injury.

You may either leave your vehicle parked in your selling space for the ENTIRE duration of the sale, or park it outside of the selling area.  Your selling space will be marked on the asphalt and you will be provided your space number and a map at sign in.
  
If you elect to move your vehicle out of your selling spot, you must do so prior to 7:30 am.

Please be courteous of those around you and do not block another vendor's space while loading and unloading.  Please keep traffic lane as open as possible to allow all vendors equal opportunity to set up their selling areas.

Do not damage Mehlville High School grounds in any way.  This includes driving stakes into the asphalt or driving/parking on the grass.  Due to the size and weight restrictions, only residential vehicles and their trailers will be allowed on the Mehlville High School parking area.  If you have questions about the types of vehicles allowed, please contact us for clarification prior to registering.  

You must ensure the safety of your shoppers by double-checking that any large items are properly supported or secured in your space.  We are not responsible for any injury during the sale, (including set up and clean up).

The sale will conclude at 2:00 pm and we ask that you have your items picked up and space cleaned up and vacated by 3:30 pm.

You may NOT move your vehicle back into the sale area earlier than 2:15 pm for safety reasons.  If you need to leave before 2:15 pm, keep your vehicle out of the sale area. Please take extreme caution and consideration for other vendors/shoppers before, during and after the sale.

You must remove all unsold/unwanted items.  This includes boxes, bags, and other trash.

Generators and any other machinery that causes noise or fumes are prohibited.

There is no direct electric or water available for vendor usage.
You must provide your own tables, chairs, and displays for your space.  Canopies are allowed, but must be weighted down for safety reasons.  Staking is strictly prohibited.  Shade is VERY limited.  Please plan accordingly.

This event is planned to take place rain or shine.  In the event of serious inclement weather, the decision to cancel will be made by the Tailgate Sale Chairpersons and you will be notified via phone numbers on file as soon as possible.  Updates will also be available via Facebook.  If you are registered on Facebook, please "like" us (MHS Tailgate Sale).

Vendors will be required to leave the sale if we feel that our regulations have been violated or if we feel that the sale is being disrupted.  No refund will be provided.

We reserve the right to prohibit the sale of items that we feel are inappropriate for sale on school grounds.  If these items are identified during the sale, the vendor will be asked to remove the item(s) immediately.  Vendors will be required to leave the sale for failure to comply.

Make sure you bring the appropriate money to make change at your booth.

Restrooms will be available in the school.

Regardless of reason for cancellations, all fees are non-refundable.

Returned checks are subject to a $20.00 returned check charge.

Please refrain from smoking on school grounds.  We also ask that you leave pets at home.
